Penthouse808 in Long Island City is bringing together all of the July 4th musts with a BBQ rooftop party and an unbeatable view of the fireworks. They’re making the night easy, too: food is included in the $65 ticket, and if you want to enjoy the night without worrying about your tab, a $100 ticket will get you access to the two-hour open bar. Surf City

If you want to feel the sand between your toes this 4th of July but could do without the hassle and expenses of traveling, Surf City is the spot for you. Situated on a sandy beach with fire pits, the Jersey City restaurant offers al fresco waterfront dining, three indoor and outdoor bars, and four dining decks. It also has a great view of the river, which means you can enjoy seafood favorites like paella, lobster mac and cheese, crab legs, and oysters while watching the fireworks show. Mr. Purple
180 Orchard Street
Popular LES restaurant Mr. Purple is throwing a rooftop fete you won’t forget. There will be a DJ, a traditional Sabrett hot dog stand, an amazing view of the fireworks, and even open access to Hotel Indigo’s pool. Penthouse at the Hotel on Rivington

For $100 at this rooftop bar, you can enjoy an open bar, a gourmet buffet and a 360-degree panoramic view of East River and the Macy’s fireworks show. Get your tickets here to wine, dine, and dance from 7 p.m. until midnight.
House of Yes

If you’d rather stick to straight partying than watch the fireworks, head over to House of Yes, the Brooklyn hot spot joining forces with Might Get Weird for a 12-hour July 4th blowout featuring eight musical acts, along with special guests. The food is TBD, but we can assure you the alcohol will be flowing. It’s free, but RSVP here.
